The Friends and Family Test (FFT) is an important feedback tool that supports the fundamental principle that people who use NHS services should have the opportunity to provide feedback on their experience.
It asks people if they would recommend the services they have used and will offer a minimum of 2 questions, the first one being “would you recommend this service to your Friends and Family?”
The FFT provides a mechanism to highlight both good and poor patient experience and is vital in transforming NHS services and supporting patient choice. This new system will be introduced from the 1st October 2014 and if you visit your GP, Nurse, Healthcare Assistant or Phlebotomist you will be asked if you would like to take the Friends & family Test.
Lavant Road Surgery have engaged a company called iWantGreatCare, who deal specifically in GP Practice Patient Experience Solutions, to collate and report on all responses directly to the NHS from December 2014. Please click on this link to leave us any feedback – thank you.
