Karen Qualified in 1985 and has special interests in Asthma COPD and Diabetes. She is also trained in Family Planning.
Mrs Eleanor Dudman completed her BA Hons in nursing in 2001 after training in Oxford. She started work at Lavant Road Surgery in December 2013 after working for another local Chichester surgery for 7 years. Eleanor joined the nursing team as a Nurse Practitioner working alongside the GP’s for minor illness and is a qualified Independent Nurse prescriber . Eleanor lives locally and is kept very busy when not at work with her young family.
Julie qualified as a Registered General Nurse in 1990 at Chichester and Graylingwell school of nursing.
Since qualifying Julie has worked in a variety of nursing roles. She worked for several years as a manager of a local nursing home before joining Bognor Regis War Memorial hospital where she worked for 8 years. Initially working within the nursing bank, on all the wards and departments at the hospital and then on the rheumatology unit for 6 years.
Julie has been a practice nurse for 9 years and has a special interest in diabetes. For part of 2014 she worked as a diabetes specialist nurse supporting healthcare professionals and patients with managing diabetes.
Julie joined Lavant Road surgery October 2014 continuing her interest in diabetes, plus also working in the treatment room, childhood immunisations, travel vaccinations and advice, cervical cytology and minor illness.
In her free time Julie enjoys running and taking part in local 10k races and walking her 3 dogs.
Grada qualified in 1989 in Holland, then qualified as a Midwife in 1992 in Croydon. She worked as a Midwife until 2000. Grada started here as a Health Care Assistant in May 2009 and undertakes blood tests, blood pressure checks, ECG’s, simple dressings and assists with minor surgery.
Karen trained in 1978 as a Nurse in Portsmouth. She has worked as Practice Nurse in the Armed Forces, as a District Nurse and a Marie Curie Nurse. She took a career break to raise her family and returned to general practice as a Health Care Assistant. She has 8 years experience in a practice in Gosport, and joined us in July 2009. Karen undertakes blood tests, blood pressure checks, ECG’s, simple dressings, and respiratory reviews including spirometry.
Julia joined the pracitce in June 2014 as a phlebotomist, taking bloods 2 days a week on a Tuesday and Friday 10.00 am until 2.00 pm.
MB BS PhD MRCP MRCGP
After an early career in plant pathology and cancer research Dr Linda Williams qualified from St Bartholomews in 1990. Her hospital training included 2 years in General Medicine followed by some time in anasthetics, A & E and Obs & Gynae. She started work in General Practice in 1995 and has a particular interest in general medical problems (e.g cardiology and diabetes), children and the elderly.
Dr Williams has 2 young sons of her own and her hobbies include tennis, cycling and looking after her garden.
MB BS DCH DRCOG MRCGP
Dr Amelia Barnett trained at the Royal London Hospital gaining experience in a wide range of medical illnesses. She qualified in 1994 and carried out her GP training at St Richards Hospital, Chichester, making her both familiar with the consultant team and local set up. Dr Barnett joined Lavant Road Surgery as a GP partner in 2000. She enjoys all aspects of General Practice, particularly womens and childrens health and is Child Protection Lead for the practice.
MB ChB MRCGP MSc
Dr Justyn Jackson trained in medicine at Birmingham University graduating in 1994. He has also completed a postgraduate masters in Sports medicine at Nottingham University in 1997. His GP training was completed in Emsworth but prior to that has worked as far afield as the Outer Hebrides and Western Australia. Justyn has professional interests in musculosketal medicine and minor surgery but also enjoys the challenge of being a generalist and trying to improve his golf handicap.

Dr Andrew Pullen joined the practice in September 2007 as a Salaried GP and became a partner in 2009. He qualified as a General Practitioner in February 2007, previously holding a position as Specialist Registrar in Surgery. His professional interests include GP training and minor surgery.
Dr Pullen has a young family and enjoys ski-ing, snow-boarding and rugby, when time allows.
Doctor Lewis qualified from Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals in 1997. He carried out his GP training at Worthing Hospital and St Barnabus’ Hospice. After several years working as a locum GP in the local area, Gloucestershire and London, he joined the practice as a partner in July 2011. He enjoys all aspects of General Practice but has a particular interest in palliative care. In his free time he enjoys several sports, walking and bad birdwatching.

Dr Last joined the practice as a Salaried GP in December 2010, qualifying from Leeds University in 1997. She has previously worked since 2008 as a Locum in the Littlehampton and Worthing area and prior to this worked in a Health Centre in Shanghai. Her specialities include women’s health and Tropical medicine.
MBBS, DRCOG, MRCGP
Dr Matthew Price qualified in 2004 from Barts and The London Medical school. He worked at St Richards hospital where he completed his GP training and then as a GP locum in Chichester. He worked and travelled in Western Australia before returning to the UK and joining Lavant Road surgery. He has a specialist interest in palliative medicine and also works part time at St Wilfrid’s Hospice. Interests include football, golf and cycling.
DRCOG, MBBS, MRCGP, DFSRH
Dr Catherine Hall qualified in 2006 from Newcastle University. She completed her GP training in Kingston, Surrey and moved to Chichester with her family in 2013. She initially worked as a locum GP before joining Lavant Road surgery in 2014. She has a specialist interest in family planning and women’s health.
