Surgery Refurbishment

 

We are pleased to announce that we will very shortly be starting some refurbishment work on the Surgery with the aim of gaining two new clinic rooms on the ground floor.

Work will start some time during the first two weeks of December and potentially as soon as 7th December.

The first of the clinic rooms will be formed by removing the Reception desk and joining the Reception lobby (where patients currently stand to talk to the Receptionist) with the Reception front office.  The second clinic room will be located where the Reception rear office currently is (both new rooms are shown in blue on the plan).

Plans of change

To enable this we will be moving most of our Reception team to the first floor and the Reception front desk will be relocated just inside the waiting room, where the electronic check-in screen is currently located (shown in Yellow).

We will also refurbish our waiting area and update our seating.

The aim will be to finish this project by the end of March.

We hope to keep the disruption to the minimum throughout the project however it will mean that we will have reduced parking available as part of the car park will be used for building materials. We thank you for your patience while this work is carried out.
